Crete in Spring

I find myself restless without a trip to plan or at least dream about. Most of this year’s trips are now behind me. There’s a trip to Czech Republic to look forward to in September, but that’s all planned out already. Earlier this week when browsing my old art history notebook I kind of got inspired to go to Greece, since I’ve only been there once.┬áSo yesterday I went on ryainair’s internet page to get inspired. I believe in easy, cheap flight connections – grab what you can get at the moment kind of policy. Flight connections change so I like to exploit the connection before it gets canceled. So there it was – a flight connection to Chania, Crete. I love that Crete is quite big so there’s plenty to do even when you rule out laying on the beach all day. I started browsing photos on google, pinterest, airbnb and instagram and got hooked right away! I stayed up until 3 a.m. planning and now I’m all excited and can’t wait for a trip that isn’t even booked and might happen a year from now. Well, that’s me. This is not even the first time I got exited so early. Let me tell you it’s exhausting jumping around all happy waiting for a trip for a year – but it’s also totally wonderful! :)

How about you? Do you get easily excited or you think it’s a waste of time to plan so far in advance?
